Windward Communications wanted to change the way that telecommunications decisions were made, moving away from a sales oriented environment and migrating to a more consultative approach. We believe we answer to our clients, not to the carriers. Our goal is to match the "best of breed" solution to our client's requirements, while ensuring that the customer is versed in what their experience will be with that provider throughout the relationship with that provider. Once the contracts are signed, Windward continues to support its clients throughout the life of the relationship, providing ongoing account management and support.

Julie Hobson Co-Founder

Julie has over 16 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Joining Cable & Wireless in 1989, Julie quickly elevated to the top echelon within Cable and Wireless. Julie specialized in large, multinational accounts with multiple locations. Julie is well known within the industry as one of, if not the best voice account manager in the industry. Windward still manages some of the first accounts that Julie worked with over 15 years ago.

Julie's accomplishments include being the #1 Account Executive in the country 5 times during her term at Cable and Wireless. Every other year, Julie was in the top 5.

Mike Oliver Co-Founder

Mike Oliver has 16 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, including experience selling PBX's, Videoconferencing systems, Frame Relay Switches, PAD's/FRAD's/Routers and Data Communications Services as well as network design, engineering, modeling and Disaster recovery planning.

Mike's diverse background enabled him to be a top sales performer at Cable & Wireless 3 of his 5 years a s well as the #1 Data Overlay representative in the country and the #1 Data Overlay Manager in the country before he left to Co-Found Windward Communications.
